lets say you work for a company and you are on the 100th floor at a meeting when you see on a tv screen that their is a outbreak in the city. You also hear screams from the the street and you see the infection has reached your jop. All you have is a [glow=red,2,300].38 magnum with 12 bullets and a golf club[/glow]. What would you do?

OK flip a table against the door to by some time to escape if they break through take I'm out with the golf club don't use the bullets if you don't have to then try to escape to a safer place and use any thing for a weapon to beat them back.

I find it interesting that everyone is barricading their office door – this is an overreaction that will get you killed. If you are on the 100th floor, it is unlikely that there are zombies right outside your door. It is during this time period that you must think quickly, carefully, and make appropriate plans. You obviously do not want to stay in the office for too long, neither head to the roof (there is no escape if get to the roof; even if there is a helipad, most helicopters do not carry more than a few people, and it is unlikely that someone is going to generously fly around the city picking people up from roof tops). There is no need to search for weapons, you already have a .38 and a golf club. I would head for the stairs. Get down those stairs as fast as you can, but be cautious when coming to doors. It isn’t the zombies that you have to worry about at this point, it is people doing stupid things or robbing others of valuable property, such as weapons. If you just saw the news of the outbreak on the television there are only a few hundred infected; if the virus had spread through the city already, giving justification for barricading yourself in a room, but never 100 floors up, there would not have been a news broadcast or a television anchor. Once on the ground floor do not take the main exit, Find the emergency exit or a back exit, and get a visual of what it looks like outside. If think are chaotic, find another way out. Not that you are on the ground floor, you also have windows that can become suitable exits. If you drove to work, plan a route to the parking garage. However, since this is a 100 + floor building, this has to be a major city, such as New York. Most people do not drive to work in major cities like that, they take buses, trains, or subways; therefore, you are going to have to fight your way home. Since the outbreak is just beginning, your best bet of survival is getting out of the city as fast as possible. Any large city such as this is going to erupt really fast, even if the spread of the virus recently started – say, twelve hours by the time the news caught wind and made the broadcast. So there are a few hundred people biting and infecting more and more people by the minute –time is of the essence. Find a motorcycle, a bicycle, or walk. Taking a car is the ultimate suicide. A multi-wheeled vehicle is going to get caught up in the traffic jams, and end up stuck with the rest of them – you’ll be faster on foot. If you pass by a shop, pickup a good backpack, stop at the nearest grocery store and purchase jerky, tuna, bottled water, peanut butter, and anything else that will stay good (hopefully you have grab-and-go gear at home, including food and water storage). Be careful when traveling, avoid large crowds, masses of people, and take back roads, including shortcuts through abandoned shops – be cautious, quick, and observant. Do not stop until you are safely behind your own front doors. Once home, gather goods and get out of dodge. If it is too late, now you can barricade the doors. Now you have food, weapons, and an easily escapable fort; on the 100th floor, you are trapped if things get ugly.

I'd probably look and find anybody that is still "sane" enough *as in not showing signs of extreme panic* and organize a quick militia style group. Then proceed down using the lesser known ways. *Fire escapes, down the elevator shaft ladders or ropes depending on if the elevators are still moving.* Then avoiding contact with undead slip out the most secluded exit.
