when choosing a weapon in the event of a zombie infestation, it's critical to know what to choose. being the sword nut that I am, I choose bladed weapons. now the bigger question is what bladed weapon would be best to use. personally, I like to keep a machete around because while it might not be high grade material like a katana, it is easier to get a hold of, cheaper for the blade wielder and is just down right reliable when it comes down to slicing heads. it's only downfall is reach, a gun can hit from further away, but accuracy is a problem with guns if you don't have much experience with aiming. keep in mind that if choosing a bladed weapon, it would be wise to keep a crowbar with you also for practical uses like getting through barricades. any other recommendations for a bladed weapon to use?

For me I use a wakizashi, though I prefer to use the objects around me over it. Th eonly real drawback to the wakizashi is length.

well for CQB smaller weapons are better, a long weapon doesn't move around as easily, you want to be able to maneuver.
